Services we provide in partnership with you

The SEPC team comprises professionally qualified and highly experienced nurses, doctors, counsellors, allied health and community welfare staff, and supported by trained volunteers. SEPC offers:

· Physical care and practical supports

· Advice on symptom management (pain, nausea etc)

· Support to discuss concerns and feelings

· Counselling

· Respite options

· Spiritual support

· Advice concerning assistance available from other sources (council, government etc)

· Links to other services (council, government, healthcare etc)

· Overnight on-call support and advice

 

The SEPC team works with the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS), local government services, general practitioners and specialists, and other health care professionals to bring together the full range of supports that may be needed.

Our services are provided free of charge, though some costs may be incurred for the hiring of medical equipment and the purchasing of medical supplies.
